Fifth Annual Turner Descendants Reunion in Missouri
The fifth annual Turner family reunion gathered August 5 1925 at Mt Olive church in Douglas county Missouri with 83 descendants and many visitors. Officers J M Turner president J P Turner vice president and Mrs Bertha Turner Gooch secretary were reelected after a noon dinner. Speakers included Mrs Sallie Adams T L Davis of Arne Mo and Rev T Estes of Eldorado Ill. The group also held a Shatto cemetery reunion in Sullivan county earlier with 39 cars attending.
