The Browning Missouri area hosts a large homecoming weekend with visitors from Columbia Kansas City Brookfield Chillicothe and Rolla. Families including DeWitt Crump Lay and Hess share travels and reunions while residents report on relatives from Laredo Iraq and Canada. Local servicemen Raymond Kelly and others return from Korea on furlough.
Mr and Mrs Asbury Phillips of St Joseph visited relatives in Grove Gilmer and Max Falconer and family while Mrs Susie Pulliam visited Brookfield. Loren Pulliam and Donna from Kansas City stayed with Ray Pulliam. Sunday dinner guests included Lawrence Elliott Roger Jess Pulliam Ben Barrows and James of Monroe City. Bro R C Yaden of Blockton Iowa led Church of Christ services. Supper guests at the Milan summer cabin included Ray McNally family and Abell Hoover Hardin Gooch Edens households.
Mr and Mrs Robert Abell and Mr and Mrs Clifford Chambers attended baseball games in St Louis on Sunday. Mrs Callie Smith and her nephew Orlando Johnson visited Mrs Ben Houston in St Louis on Saturday. 4 H Club met with Anella Murrayan and 17 members. Anelle demonstrated table setting and sewing work. The 4 H group included Phyllis Stone visiting Lawrence Elliott and Roger. Mr and Mrs Robert Lambert and Lucille headed to Colorado for a family trip last week.

On July 16 1951 the Probate Court of Linn County Missouri issued a certificate of appointment designating H G Johnson as guardian of Willis J Cokerham an unsound mind liable for estate management. All creditors must present claims within one year of the certificate date or be barred from benefits. Attest Guardian Walter C Hotaling Judge of the Probate Court.
