Sam P Kelly born March 24 1873 in Monroe County Kentucky died August 1 1937 at his home near Browning Missouri aged 63 4 7 was a lifelong farmer. He married Ida Bowles in 1899 mother of four children four grandchildren and later married Cordin Swisegood in 1917. Funeral held at his home with Rev Hobbs and interment near Excelsior Springs Missouri.

True Blue Club Held At School House July 28
The True Blue Club met at the school house on July 28 with Mrs. Bryan Molloy as hostess and Mrs. George Phillips as leader. Twenty members and three visitors attended. The program included singing America, a Club Collect, a reading on Training Babies, and grab bag prizes. Mrs. Molloy and sewing club girls displayed articles judged by three visitors.
