The German Lothario and the Elmira Kidnap Plot
In 1887 a charming German-Canadian schoolteacher J K Herres vanishes after forging notes for 900 dollars. Detective Murray langs a cross-border chase from Canada to Little Falls, Berlin and Royalton, aided by deputy Richardson and Sheriff Quinn.
