Brownfield Senior and XYZ Club Menu Plans and Price Rise

The Brownfield Senior Citizens menu for Sept 30 to Oct 4 features liver and onions fried chicken chicken and dumplings meatloaf and oven fried fish with varied sides. The Brownfield XYZ Club menu offers enchilada casserole chicken strips roast beef steak fingers and barbeque chicken with corresponding sides. On Oct 1 the XYZ meals cost increases to 3.50 per person due to high grocery prices. The annual Thanksgiving dinner is set for Nov 16 in the BHS Commons with prices of 6 for adults and 3 for children. the public is welcome.

Terry County 4-H schedules upcoming activities

Terry County 4-H outlines events over the next weeks including a September 30 parent meeting at Terry County Park Amphitheater at 7 p.m. Clover Buds and Brownfield Jr. 4-H meet October 8 at 6 30 p.m. at the same location Senior 4-H gathers October 8 at 7 p.m. and Indoor Archery Shoots on November 16 at the Terry County Livestock Barn.
