Calvary Baptist Church Moves After 50 Years in Old Building
Calvary Baptist Church relocates to a newly built facility at 402 E Broadway after more than five decades in a small brick church. Volunteers moved boxes and furniture, preparing a dedication service for the weekend. Eyvonne Palmer led interior design and vision, with Brad Moore praising her influence as the new building ministry head. The project expanded the footprint from 17 000 to about 45 000 square feet, doubled size while keeping costs low through self-work and bank/property donations.
