BISD tackles TAAS goals and campus plans approval
The Brownfield ISD Board of Education approved the 2001 2002 campus plans across five campuses focusing on TAAS score improvements. They also entered an interlocal agreement with the Juvenile Justice Board, approved a 2002 F 350 truck for 34822, and debated tennis court repairs with the Terry County Tennis Association ahead of a November tournament.

Farm Tour Set With Agronomist Talks In Terry County
The Farm Tour Thursday morning features agronomist Dr. Calvin Trostle from the Texas Cooperative Extension discussing peanut varieties for the South Plains and single versus double row planting. Stop four introduces Terry County Young Farmer of the Year, with a barbecue meal to follow at the Terry County Showbarn funded by local sponsorships and hosted by Terry County Soil and Water Conservation District. Harvest Festival Queen candidates will join the tour and be introduced during stop four.
