Breckenridge resident Hattie Knight 89 died Sept 11 at home. Funeral Sept 13 at Morehart Mortuary led by Rev. Cecil Harper. Burial in Breckenridge Cemetery. Survived by three daughters, two sons, 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren. Memorials to Meals on Wheels or Hospice of the Big Country. Elmer H. Woodcock 68 of Lubbock died Sept 12. Graveside Sept 17 at Resthaven Memorial Park with Rev. Shera Atkinson. Survived by wife Gwendolyn Foster, two daughters Beverly Burris and Linda Warren, two sons Wade and Wayne, one brother Allen, eight grandchildren. He was a former Southwestern Bell forecast engineer and Agape United Methodist Church member.
