Brownfield Council Adopts 04 05 Budget and Tax Rate
The Brownfield City Council approved the 2004 2005 budget and kept the tax rate at the prior year level with a minor increase in revenue due to higher certified tax values. The budget relies on about 1.028 million in undesignated reserves to balance, and overall is down 1.8 percent with the General Fund up nearly 1 percent and Proprietary Funds up about 2.8 percent.
