Early voting for the 16 Texas Constitution amendments opens Monday Oct 22 and runs through Friday Nov 2 in Room 105 of the Terry County Courthouse. Highway collision kills one and injures 31 in Texas
A two vehicle crash at the intersection of U S Highway 385 and Texas Highway 137 left Loyd Yowell 77 dead at the scene. Thirty one Levelland ISD bus passengers including 28 volleyball players were treated or transferred for injuries. The collision occurred at 3 28 p m as the eastbound pickup failed to yield to the southbound bus.
