Proactive agreement expands Farm Ownership funds for Texas producers
Texas farmers may access Farm Ownership loans next year through a joint financing plan between the Farm Service Agency and Texas Rural Communities Inc. TRC will fund half of loans up to 200000 dollars with 20 year terms and up to 30 year amortization, interest variable as prime plus three points. The BYA base and yield tool aids producers in updating bases and yields for 2002 2003 crop years.
