Veterans honored at Brownfield High assembly
Brownfield High School held a Veterans Day assembly in the gym at 11 30 a m with guests and a Color Guard from the State Guard. Principal Cary White spoke of freedom, the Spirit of the Plains Band performed the National Anthem, and Sam Miller led the pledge. Don McWhorter announced veterans and graduates who joined the armed services, listing dozens of teacher veterans.
