Veterans Remembered in Terry County Cemetery Ceremonies
About 214 veterans from four wars lie in Terry County cemeteries and will be honored Tuesday with a Memorial Day program by Hand Bros. Post 6794 VFW and The American Legion. The 10 a.m. event begins at the courthouse square with speaker Floyd Stumbo of Lubbock Children's Home and proceeds to cemeteries for grave decorations.

Terry College and Texas Tech announce 361 seniors across arts and sciences will receive bachelor degrees. Commencement at 8 p.m. Monday.
