Collecting Irrigation System Brings Efficient Farm Watering
Frank Barret, the first Terry County farmer to install a Collecting Irrigation System, ties five wells to a central 500 barrel tank on his 320 acre farm eight miles northeast of Brownfield. The system delivers water to a sprinkler line with automatic motor cutoffs, enabling about 40 minutes of irrigation from one tank.
