Terry County Jail Passes State Inspection Again
Terry County Sheriff Jerry Johnson announced the Terry County Jail passed the Texas Commission of Jail Standards annual inspection in all areas for the fifteenth consecutive year. TCJS praised the facility as one of the better jails in the state, noting cleanliness up to date recordkeeping and adequate staffing with 26 jailers and 137 inmates, operating near capacity with a 156 inmate capacity.
