Grand Jury Indicts 10 In Spring Session

The Terry County Grand Jury in spring session Wednesday handed down 12 indictments to 10 subjects. Humberto Serbantez faces three counts of delivery of a controlled substance with $2,500 bond per count. Isabel Vasquez charged with possession and use of unauthorized food stamps with $3,000 bond. Ray Flores indicted for assault on a public servant with $5,000 bond. Margarito Longoria Jr. charged with theft over $20,000 with $3,000 bond. Agustin Navarro Rojas Jr. faces driving while intoxicated with $3,000 bond. Bobby Joe Brock DWI with $1,000 bond. Jose Luis G. Garcia DWI with $1,500 bond. Sylvia Gonzales Rodriguez Endangering a child with $2,500 bond. Carlos Cavazos Endangering a child with $3,000 bond.

City to test storm sirens on Mondays beginning April 6

The City of Brownfield will test its storm warning siren every Monday at noon starting April 6, per Emergency Management Coordinator Earl Elrod.
