Fire destroys Challis Baptist Church near Brownfield
Explosion at Challis Baptist Church parsonage area Friday caused a fire that leveled the building to the foundation. No injuries reported. Martha Thomas to Spell at Lubbock Regional Bee
Martha Thomas a Brownfield Junior High student and 1962 Terry County champ will represent Terry April 7 in Lubbock at the regional spelling bee sponsored by the Avalanche Journal.
