Terry County was declared eligible for two FSA disaster emergency loans with deadlines in 2004. The 11-5-03 declaration covered damages from June 1 to June 30, 2003 due to excessive rain hail and high winds. The 11-13-03 declaration covered June 3 to June 23, 2003 with a tornado.

A Terry County Relay for Life committee meeting is planned for 6 p.m. Tuesday March 23 at Brownfield First Presbyterian Church, with team captain meeting at 7 p.m. Captains must order shirts by March 23. The Relay event is 6:30 p.m. Friday April 23 at Cub Stadium.
