Services for Reba Wayne Church 75 of Brownfield were held March 9 at Brownfield Church of Christ with Bob Reynolds and Mike McDonald officiating. Burial followed at Brownfield Cemetery under Brownfield Funeral Home. She died March 5 in Lubbock. born March 15, 1926 in Lubbock. married to Jackson Danner Church in 1947. she retired from nursing in 1986 and served in the US Cadet Nurse Corps. Surviving are two daughters Marsha Bailey and Diana Porter, two sons Danny Church and Richard Church, plus siblings and grandchildren. Memorials to Medina Children's Home, Lubbock Children's Home or Camp Blue Haven.

Funeral services for Jimmy Wood 80 of Wichita Falls were held Thursday March 7 at Faith Village Church of Christ with Minister Charlie Thomason officiating and Hardeman Nichols of Dallas assisting. Burial followed at Holliday Cemetery in Holliday under direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home. Wood died Tuesday.
