Clubwoman of the Year Mrs Rufus Dill Named Friday

Mrs. Rufus Dill of the Foster Community and Union HD Club was named Clubwoman of the Year at the Commissioners Court banquet sponsored by the Terry County Home Demonstration Council. The honor recognizes her work in home life, community and club activities and notes her transformation from a timid person to a confident leader through 7 years of club involvement with Union HD Club and 4-H activities.

Brownfield to Host 1957 Outstanding Young Man and Farmer Banquet

The Brownfield Junior Chamber of Commerce will hold its 11th annual Outstanding Young Man and Third Outstanding Young Farmer banquet in the Brownfield cafeteria. Ralph Rrebba will MC, Kham will address as Texas Junior Chamber president, and Pete Snelson Holt Payne will speak. Plaques will honor local youths meeting service, residency, and farming-income criteria.
