Local youths honored for life saving actions by class instructor
Brownfield teens Dennis Culp and Michael Ledesma, both 14 and 15, used first aid training to aid Michael Ledesma’s father Henry during a severe drug reaction leading to seizures and respiratory failure. Along with his wife Rosa and Dennis’s mother Diane, they notified EMS, assisted en route to Lubbock, and helped until advanced care arrived. Ledesma recovered after three days in ICU and a week more at home.

Early voting continues for March 10 primary
Over 200 Terry County residents have already cast ballots in the March 10 primary. Early voting runs through Friday at the County Clerk’s office.
