Terry County Commissioners approved buying a Canon 5000 Digital Copier for the courthouse at 10772.83 dollars with 50 copies per minute. The plan includes a maintenance pact from Tascosa Office Machine and a Pitney Bowes five year postage meter rental.
The 33rd annual Firecracker Run presented by the West Texas Running Club will take place morning of July 4 at Terry County Park as part of Brownfield's celebration. The race offers 3 and 10 mile adult events and a 1 mile kids run, with last year reaching a record 178 runners. Notable records include Jorge Pacheco's 10 mile time of 52 34 and Marjory Stewart's 10 mile women’s mark of 1 05 30.
