Brownfield police report multiple arrests and property crime
Police reported Raymond S. Rodriguez, 20, was arrested after a disturbance on West Story Street and charged with being drunk in public disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Domingo Perez Jr., 30, was jailed for carrying a prohibited weapon and drunken public. A year-old Mexican boy was hospitalized after being hit by a ball causing a collapsed lung. Day care burglary totaled 63.37 with items stolen and damage. Other records note Ave linos Ramos, 52, drunk in public, and a spark plug thrown at a residence damaging a storm door and yard.

Church To Honor America Sunday at Calvary Baptist

Homer Irven Nelson known as Punch was in the ICU after a one car crash at about 1 30 a m Saturday on the curve north of Wolfforth. He was expected to be moved from intensive care soon. His son Tommy and nephew Hoot Nelson arrived at the scene before he was removed.
