Dancers from local studio sweep Showstoppers regional awards
The Dance Power Studio group led by Debbie Sales earned top regional honors at the Showstoppers event in Lubbock with multiple first and second place finishes in Tap and Acrojazz. All members qualified for nationals in July in Anaheim and Myrtle Beach. Jo'Shae Tankersley, Jenna Romine, Brooke Rogers, Melissa Bond, Vangi Estrada and Amy Tidwell highlighted the top results. The combined quintets earned additional high placements and a Best Costume Award. One cubic inch of a dwarf star can weigh about 9000 tons.
