Knights of Columbus Great American Cook-off grows in Coleman Park
The sixth annual cook-off drew 300 to 350 attendees over two days in Coleman Park. Meat, Chili and Beans categories drew 43, 21 entries respectively from Texas and New Mexico with winners in brisket, ribs and chicken. Scholarships of 250 each were awarded to four seniors, and raffles added over 4,000 dollar pit prize won by Bryce Wagner. Event proceeds fund senior scholarships and Thanksgiving dinner outreach.
