Mrs Cruce Elected President of Women’s West Texas Golf Group
Mrs John L Cruce was elected president of the Women’s West Texas Golf Association at the annual meeting held at the San Angelo Country Club. She also serves on boards of the Women’s Texas Golf Association and Brownfield Country Club Golf Association. Jane Thornton of El Paso was named first vice president and Audrey Anders of Abilene second vice president. The 1968 tournament will be in El Paso at the Country Club with Hillcrest Country Club in Lubbock hosting next year.
