More than 10 thousand dollars of the 15 thousand dollar goal was raised, with organizers urging pledgers to send in donations to reach the goal. Brownfield and Terry County churches unite for Jesus Day 2000 a community event with 150 to 250 believers expected to march downtown Brownfield Saturday. The March begins with gathering at 9 30 a m at the Terry County Courthouse and a 10 a m one mile street march. Organizer Nancy Howard notes broad church participation and inclusive faiths as Master of Ceremonies Steve Carter emphasizes people over denominations.
