Moore sentences two in plea bargains in district court
Kelly Moore reports two plea bargains in 121st District Court this week. Mark Allen Busby, 50, faced possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, four grams or more but less than 200. He received seven years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, seven years probation, with court costs of 263, attorney fees 300, restitution 140, and a time payment fee 25. License suspension 180 days and required Alcoholic Narcotics Anonymous participation. Travis William Parkman, 21, burglary of habitation, was sentenced to 10 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and 10 years probation with costs 248, restitution 2,657.04, and a 25 time payment fee. He must enter the Ray D. Anderson Community Corrections Facility treatment program.
