Services for Douglas Harold Forbes Sr sixty of Temple were held June 3 at Sheffield Funeral Home with Rev Elton Lawson officiating. Burial followed at Bellwood Memorial Park. He died May 31 in a Temple hospital. Born in Brownfield he graduated Brownfield High School 1952 and attended Garden City College in Kansas. Survived by wife Margie three sons Douglas Jr Mark Bryan two daughters Mona Carol Lisa mother Florence Norton and many relatives including 16 grandchildren

Burial in Terry County Memorial Cemetery. Born November 5, 1900 in Van Zandt County. Survived by sister Ruth Bullock of Roswell, NM and several nieces and nephews. Member of First Baptist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, Hospital Auxiliary and Rebekah Lodge.
