Operation Clean Sweep moves into West Texas phase
The Texas Water Quality Board reports Phase One completion of its Clean Sweep program started in November 1969. Since then 1500 wastewater dischargers have been inspected and 64 facilities have completed or underway upgrades. The effort has fostered water quality awareness and shifts into West Texas and the upper Rio Grande Valley.
