Services for Mr. T A Elmore 81 of Brownfield were held Tuesday at First United Methodist Church. He died July 23 in Lubbock after being born June 20 1919 in Etheridge Tennessee. He moved to Tokio Terry County in 1927, was a farmer, married Romalee Gouldin January 7 1940 in Lovington New Mexico, and served on PCA board, was a Mason and church member. He is survived by his wife two sons Tommy and Rick two sisters Hattie Bea Brantley Eunice Moore and six grandchildren five great grandchildren.

Judge Kelly Moore handed down sentences this week in 121st District Court. Raymond Salas received eight years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice after probation revocation. Anthony Berger got seven years for a driving while intoxicated plea. Rodolfo Villarreal was sentenced to five years for DWI plus a $2,000 fine.
