Golf Tournament to Benefit Scholarships at TTU and SPC
The 23rd Annual API Blind Bogey Golf Tournament will be Sept 9-10 at Brownfield Country Club to raise funds for five Texas Tech University and six South Plains College scholarships. Endowment funds totaling 25,000 and 12,500 dollars will support future awards if the South Plains chapter dissolves. Participants must be 1977 South Plains API members.

Quarterly Tax Return Deadline Approaching
The Internal Revenue Service said the second quarter 1977 payroll taxes must be reported and paid by July 31. Employers depositing the full quarterly liability on time at a Federal Reserve Bank or authorized bank have until August 10 to file Form 941. Forms 941 may be obtained via preaddressed IRS mailings or at local IRS offices. Publication 15 Circular E offers more guidance and is free from local offices.
