Brownfield Class of 1955 plans Aug reunion
The Brownfield High School graduating Class of 1955 has scheduled its 50 year Reunion for August 26 and 27 at the Alamo Events Center. The group seeks three missing classmates Vernon Brewer, Dodie Odom, and Jesse Scott and asks former students who did not graduate to contact Daniel Brasher or Dixie Brinson Jones with name and address.

Garcia graduates from Covenant Radiology school
Nicolas Garcia Jr of Brownfield was among 17 graduates at the 2005 Covenant School of Radiology pinning ceremony. Garcia received the Award of Excellence from Dr. Rob Posteraro, chosen by physicians of the Lubbock Diagnostic Clinic for radiology excellence. He completes a two year program and plans to take the ARRT exam before joining Covenant Health Systems as an MRI radiology technologist. He is the son of Mary Garcia and the late Nicolas Garcia Sr.

Terry County Crime Line Offers Reward For Burglary
The Terry County Crime Line Inc will pay a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of suspects in a burglary of a habitation near Low Street and Ryan Street in Terry County. The June 23 burglary saw two jewelry rings taken after entry was gained. Police list stolen items including a shotgun rifles handgun guitars television VCR microwave computer with printer large picture frames and canned goods.
