Cart duo trek to New Orleans for gator burger
Aaron Burden and Valerie Miller travel from Tucson to New Orleans by a motorless cart, covering about 10 miles daily. They camp outside towns, dodging roadwork, and seek a gator burger in New Orleans this fall, with possible eastward plans afterward. They aim to stay young and adventurous, enjoying roadside sights along the way.

BIDCorp updates board on dairy permits and Radio Shack plans
Cargill reported no dairy permit decision yet but expects a soon resolution. BIDCorp has discussed with South Plains Community Action a potential headstart program at the vacant CRTC building, which they find promising though early. The board was updated on an economic incentive to James Leavelle to open a Radi Shack store, with installation expected mid August.
