Young at 104: Brownfield woman reflects on faith and life
Mrs. Young, born July 6, 1898 near Jacksboro, celebrates 104 years while reflecting on faith, family, and a life spanning cars to airplanes. She recalls caretaking after her mother's death, her 1920 marriage to James Elmer Young, and moving to Brownfield in 1989. Despite ailments, she cherishes quilts, Bible study, and hopes to attend church again.
