Youth To Attend Abilene Track Meet From Cub Stadium

About 35 youths from the local track program will depart Cub Stadium at 5 30 a m on July 12 by bus for Abilene to compete in the Abilene Invitational at Cooper High School track field. The Jal, New Mexico meet was cancelled due to track rework.

Head Start Open House At Oak Grove Elementary

Parents and friends are invited to an Oak Grove Elementary Head Start open house tonight from 8 to 9 p m. Students and teachers will display work and a student group will present a program. A facility tour follows with refreshments after. Director Jack Pinson leads the program with about 85 enrollees this summer.

Jaycees To Hold White Elephant Sale Saturday
