BIDCorp considers incentives for new Brownfield project
BIDCorp discussed a downtown site purchase with a verbal owner agreement and a plan to seek $5,000 per new job created between January 15 2003 and January 15 2004. Seven hires were projected, but concerns arose about benefits to Brownfield or Terry County and whether recruits would reside locally. The matter was tabled for further study as the board approved the 2003 04 budget and scheduled the next meeting for August 4 at City Hall.
