Brownfield hosts the 17th Firecracker Road Race with 87 runners from New Orleans Ingham and Arusha. Daniel Fonseca placed third in the three mile men's 30 39 division with 17 17. Lolo Mercado of Lubbock won the 10 mile in 57 45, Robin Powell 1 00 18. Leodyard Martin of Arusha won the three mile in 15 17 while Zack Gwanda finished 15 27.
