Brownfield Middle School Girls and Boys Basketball Roundup
Brownfield Middle School teams posted mixed results across grades. The 8th grade girls red squad placed second in a Denver City event, beating Maidens 26-16 with Kelsey Duncan scoring 10 and Casey Serbantez netting 11 in a 30-18 win over Midland Christian. 7th grade boys white went 1-3 in nine days, beating Lamesa and losing to Seminole and Levelland. Jeremy Herrera led scoring with 12 in one game and 20-point outings by teammates highlighted. 7th grade boys red dropped to Lamesa 62-44 with Tyree Wilkes leading 10 points, then fell 65-35 at Seminole with Andrew Sides at 13.
