Rotary hears Vietnam talk from Air Force captain
Captain Robert G. Haines Jr. from Reese Air Force Base in Lubbock spoke to the Brownfield Rotary Club on his Vietnam tour. He flew 235 missions and displayed color slides and a briefing movie detailing combat missions underway.

Ray Reynolds Wins a Shop At Home Contest
Ray Reynolds of 1615 E. Tate won first prize in the January Shop At Home contest and will receive a $15 check Monday. Second place goes to Mrs. J.O. Burnett Jr., who earns a $10 check Monday. Reynolds and his wife moved to Brownfield in 1959 from Lubbock and he urges stronger local advertising across newspapers and broadcast media to keep shoppers local. He cites better roads, transportation, and more leisure time as factors.
