Vandivere Named Outstanding Citizen At Chamber Fete
Keith Vandivere was named 1983 Outstanding Citizen by 1982's Outstanding Citizen Olita Toliver at the Brownfield Chamber of Commerce banquet held in the Brownfield High School Commons. Vandivere has lived in Terry County since 1958 and Brownfield since 1967, and has held roles with the Masons, Scottish Rite, school boards, and local chambers.

Two Major City Theft Reports In Brownfield Weekend
Brownfield police investigated two large thefts along with other incidents over the weekend. From a Terry County Body Shop two 1979 Chevrolet pickups lost items including an AM FM cassette player two speakers two sunvisors and a headliner worth 450 total. A 1982 Chevrolet at James Drive yielded a portable stereo ski gear and several other items totaling 300 with 300 in car damage.
