A four day course on public relations starts Monday at 7 30 p m in Brownfield High School library. Sponsors include Brownfield Chamber of Commerce the high school distributive education program the University of Texas and the Texas Education Agency. Burglars Strike Bayless Jewelry Window in Brownfield
Thieves shattered the west front window of Bayless Jewelry between 6:02 and 7:15 am Friday, stealing nine ring sets and six pearl or diamond pendants valued around 500 dollars. Watches remained. Police questioned three Brownfield men with no arrests by week’s end. A prior window at Gene Gunn on Lubbock Road was broken earlier in the week causing about 200 dollars in glass damage.
