Bounty Set On Coyotes and Crows at Terry County Court

Terry County Commissioners Court in its first year meeting approves a $4 bounty on coyotes and 50 cent bounty on crows. Several new appointments fired, salaries raised for bailiff and shop staff, and committees named including grievance, airport board, park board, and historical survey. Reverend Elvis Brown Finds Calling in Brownfield

Meet Your Mabon resident Reverend Elvis William Brown and his wife Isabell after moving to Brownfield for six weeks. The Church of the Nazarene pastor arrived in Texas three years ago from Vernon and hails from Roswell New Mexico. He is the son of the late Stanley Brown and Mrs. Benson Brown of El Paso with a brother in Chicago and a sister in El Paso. He attended Roswell High and studied at Southern California University in San Diego before serving in the U S Navy overseas in China.
