Car Windows Shot Out After Fight At Private Club
A Brownfield woman’s car was shot up in the 400 Club parking lot after a late Saturday fight inside the private club. A shotgun-wielding assailant damaged the vehicle with about 2000 dollars in interior and glass loss. No charges filed yet. Separately a Brownfield man was shot in the calf by his wife in an unrelated Thursday incident. the gun was confiscated but to be returned to the family. Police noted the domestic shooting occurred inside a private residence, so no city firearms charge could be filed.
