Vanished Path Road Of Puri And MEG Foundation Efforts
In February 2004 an access road was built in Puri and a minivan purchased through donations from a business course taught by Patricia McDade in California. The road lets teachers reach the village center without a long walk, supporting education. Mary-Ellen Gerber arrived in Los Angeles with her 13 year old daughter from France and started an import business. She became a citizen and later learned of a devastating India hurricane that orphaned over 3,000 children. She flew to India to help and on June 21 her village for children in need opened with eighty six children moving in, with a second village and a hospital project underway in partnership with New Hope and other groups.
