Ruthie Bell Davis sister of the late Minnie Welch Harris of Brownfield marks her 101st birthday at home in Snyder. Harris died in 1969 at 100 after a life in Johnson County and Texas migration by covered wagon. Harris enjoyed a 93 year plane ride. two Harris daughters live in Snyder and others in Breckenridge and Phoenix.
