A general meeting to organize a Day Care Center for Wheatley School area children will be held Monday March 1 at 7 30 p m at the South Plains Health Center. Parents church and civic leaders must support the center with by laws board selection and officer elections. The nine to fifteen member board should include capable diverse citizens. Solons approve purchase and easement at Terry County session
Terry County Commissioners approved buying a new Ateco ripper packer for Caterpillar No. 120 motor grader for Precinct Two from West Texas Equipment Company for 6292.50 dollars. They also authorized a 160 dollar donation to the Texas Historical Society Foundation Fund. The board granted an easement for a 10 inch plastic water line buried 40 inches.
