Mrs. W T Patton, a longtime Terry resident aged 82, died Tuesday night at her home 619 East Hill. Services were incomplete Wednesday at Brownfield Funeral Home. Duo Escapes Fumes After Close Call in Apartment
A young couple, Jerry Browning and Linda Langford Browning, escaped possible death from carbon monoxide in a garage apartment at 105 W Cardwell. Two open flames were burning full blast as Linda fell ill and Jerry, after eating, fainted, locking the door. Parents knocked, but entry failed. both neighbors were found unconscious inside.
