Brownfield Police Busy With Wrecks Burglaries
Brownfield police reported four wrecks and several burglaries between Tuesday noon and Friday. Incidents included a 1980 Chevrolet and a 1976 Lincoln in front of Sprouse Rietz, a 1978 Ford hitting a fire hydrant at Lubbock Road and Ripley, a 1972 Chevrolet colliding with a parked 1979 GM pickup on E Harris, and a 1976 Ford colliding with a 1970 Plymouth near Oak Grove School. A toolbox and tools were taken from BJ Hughes, with a possible burglary noted Wednesday night.
