Business Machines Class Opens Monday

The Brownfield School System sponsors an adult business machines course starting Monday February 23. Led by administrative assistant Jack Pinson, the class runs 12 weeks or 24 hours ending about May 25. Sessions start at 7 p.m. at the high school, tuition $10, with room for additional enrollments Monday night.

Farmers Seek Action After Yield Change Hit Texas Cotton

Farmers in 15 Texas counties face lower 1970 price support due to a College Station ASCS decision reducing projected cotton yields by 100 pounds per acre for many, cutting income by up to 16.80 per pound per acre. Farm Meet Planned In Plains At Courthouse
